Government rapped on social media over ARY ban
ISLAMABAD: The suspension of ARY News license for a period of 15 days has drawn stern criticism on social media, where politicians, civil society leaders and public figures slammed the government for gagging the most popular news channel of Pakistan.
Different political leaders including MQM’s Haider Abbas Rizvi, PTI chief Imran Khan, former president Pervez Musharraf, PML-Q leader Chudhary Pervez Ilahi and others strongly condemned the suspension of ARY News license and termed it a move to suppress media voice.
