KP NAB arrests former PPP minister in land scam
PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday apprehended former provincial minister of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for involvement in a land scam, ARY News reported.
According to details, NAB officials arrested former revenue minister Mureed Kazim, AC Lakki Marwat Qayyum Nawaz, DRO Mohmand Agency and an assistant of the KP Board of Revenue.
All of them were arrested for their involvement in a land scam.
Mureed Kazim is accused of illegally distributing 1976 kanal government land.
The former provincial minister will be produced before the accountability court on Tuesday in order to obtain his physical remand.
