PM Nawaz rejects petroleum price hike
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has rejected the summary of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to increase the prices of petroleum goods, ARY News reports.
OGRA had forwarded a report to the federal government to increase the prices of petroleum goods due to the hike of crude oil prices in the world market.
Nawaz Sharif has ordered that the tariffs should not be changed and decided to provide relief to the masses,
The government will provide subsidy of Rs. 510 million to maintain the price level.
