Rangers’ officials meet Rasheed Godil, inquire about his health
KARACHI: Officials of the Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Saturday met Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Rasheed Godil, who was critically injured in an assassination attempt on him last month, ARY News reported.
According to details, Rangers officials called on Godil at his residence located in Khayaban e Tariq, Defence Karachi, and presented him a bouquet.
They inquired about the well-being of MQM representative and details of the attack on him.
Officials assured the MQM member that Pakistan Rangers Sindh will provide him security whenever he needed it.
Godil currently has six policemen and a police mobile in his security detail.
Our correspondent Shabih ur Rehman said that the condition of Rasheed Godil is improving day by day, while he himself walked to the drawing room to shake hand with Rangers officials.
Rasheed Godil was critically injured in an assassination attempt on him on August 18 in Bahadurabad area of Karachi.
He had sustained serious injuries in head, chest and jaw, while his driver was killed during the attack.
