Zardari invites political leaders on Iftar dinner tomorrow
ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari has invited different political leaders on Iftar dinner tomorrow, ARY News reported.
According to sources, the PPP co-chairperson will discuss the ongoing political situation with political leaderships of different parties, especially in the wake of his diatribe against army.
The ex-president a day before yesterday had targeted army without overtly naming them.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif excused from holding a meeting with Zardari.
The premier presided a meeting of federal ministers Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif and Ahsan Iqbal to ponder over the situation after former president Asif Ali Zardari’s ‘diatribe’ against the military.
During the meeting federal ministers suggested the prime minister to not hold a meeting with the PPP co-chairman under current circumstances.
